The train with passengers derails in Gorakhpur section.

Gorakhpur, Moira 3 December 2021.The train derailed in a small valley, causing a catastrophic accident on the hills in Gorakhpur area. The incident took place around 4 am while the passenger was asleep. Two bogies of the train suddenly derailed and the passengers in these bogies were injured. 20 passengers were killed and 30 others were injured in the accident. In the morning, people from nearby villages informed the police. The Commissioner of Police came and inquired into the accident and called an ambulance to rush the injured to the hospital. At the end of the investigation, it appears that he accident took place due to damaged track at one place, as a result of which the last two bogies lost their balance and derailed. The government expressed concern for the victims and their families.


Report writing on Road Accidents

Yesterday, I met an accident when I was coming back home from my job. A truck with excessive speed bumped with a car on the highway. The car was crashed fatally and the owner along with his wife was dead on the spot. There were also two children in the car who were injured critically. They were taken to hospital but one of the children died on the way. The other child was put in ICU. After one hour of reaching the hospital, he also failed his bet of life and the entire family was no more. The police are looking for the truck driver who fled at the spot. The police are suspecting him whether he was intoxicated because they found three bottles of alcohol in the truck. Police seized the truck as well as the car for investigation. They are also searching for the truck owner as well. May the deceased rest in peace.


A BUILDING COLLAPSED, 11 KILLED

Kolkata, July 15, 2022: Twelve persons were killed including an 80-year-old woman, and twenty were injured when a five-storeyed building on Najrul Sarani collapsed last night. The probable cause of the collapse was low-quality building materials, serious defects in the construction, and improper soil testing. The local people rushed to the spot when they heard the turb and informed the police station and fire brigade. They started rescue work no late. The police have already arrested the promoter and the building contractor. The Kolkata Corporation has set up an Enquiry Committee to find out the actual causes of the collapse.


Flood Situation Worsens

Flood situation has deteriorated in Khaliajury Upazela in Netrakona as 15,000 people have been marooned and 20,000 hectares of Boro crops damaged. Floodwater damaged 15,000 hectares of Boro crops at Baghatia, Gondamara, Nagor Ballobpur and Jagannathpur haor in Khaliajuri. A 10 Kilometer portion of Jatrabari flood protection embankment had washed away by floodwater. Water Development Board sources said the water level of the rivers Kongsha, Dhonu and Ubdakhali rose sharply. As more people have been flood affected, shortage of drinking water and food has become acute. Different water-borne diseases have spread among the flood victims. Government relief has yet to reach the flood affected areas. A number of local NGOs and some charity organizations are conducting limited-scale relief activities. But it is very inadequate for the victims. If relief is not distributed among the affected, people have to starve. Oral saline and medicines have become a must for the patients. Doctors say if saline and medicines are not distributed immediately, epidemic may strike the flood affected areas.


SEVERE EARTHQUAKE IN GARHWAL AND KUMAON 415 DEAD

Uttar Kashi, October 21: A devastating earthquake occurred in the early hours in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttar Pradesh yesterday. As a result of this severe earthquake, 415 persons were killed, 5000 houses were completely destroyed and another 2,000 homes were badly damaged. Relief and rescue operations were started on a war footing. Thirty medical teams with doctors and medicines rushed to the affected areas. Air Force Plane air-dropped food and necessary articles. The central government sanctioned grants of Rs. 55.50 lakhs for Uttar Kashi and Rs. 13.60 lakhs for Tehri Garhwal.


Blood Donation Camp

Delhi, 12 November 20. A blood donation camp was organized by our school Delhi public school on 12th November 20.. . It was held in the school hall. The Chief Guest of the Camp was the SDO of the city. A team of 15 doctors and nurses of AIIMS came for collection of blood. About 25 boys had volunteered for donating blood. I was also enthusiastic for donating my blood. There were also very prominent people of the city who were there to donate blood. A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
